Greetings! The purpose of Hot Rod Gifts is to provide you with some unique and interesting gift ideas for the hot rodder in your life.

Hot Rod Gifts was created in early 2009. It came about due to the fact that I continually surf the web for automotive information relating to hot rods, kustoms, street rods, muscle cars and american sports cars. I often run into products that I think are cool and would personally like to own or give to someone. So, HRG was born.

Does Your Businesses Mean Business?

Honestly, you don't have to have a "high dollar design" web site. Your potential customers are looking for quality products, clear and easy to find information, and quality customer service. Provide these and you have earned a customer and new sales person!

Does your web site give your potential customers the right message? As I have surfed the web I have found many business web sites that would actually repel potential customers. Here's a few reasons why:

• No "About" page. Do you have an "about" page? You should. People want to know who they are doing business with and a little background on the company. This is a great place to convey your passion for your product!
• Old Copyright dates. Do you have Copyright 1999 on your pages? This is a sign you might not be in business anymore, or worse, you just don't care. If you have copyright dates, keep them up to date!
• Old news. Do you have a news area on your site? Is the last news item dated five years ago? Not good. You are probably not in business any more.
• Broken links. Broken links tell me you might busy with things other than your online business. Goodbye. Make sure your links work, all of them!
